Chapelizod hosts a week-long community festival every year at the start of the school summer holidays. The festival, which has been running for over twenty years, is a week packed with events for the young and older generations including; trips to Fort Lucan, swimming, rowing, bowling, baking and talent competitions, sports days, yoga, disco, table quiz,
