Dundrum Special Olympics

We're excited to welcome everyone back as Dundrum Special Olympics training resumes on September 6th on Sunday at 10:00 AM at st benildus college,

Our sessions are fun, inclusive, and designed for athletes of all abilities.
Whether you're joining for confidence, friendship, or simply to enjoy being active, you'll be supported every step of the way.

We're also looking for new volunteers to help us create a positive, safe, and enjoyable environment for our athletes. No experience needed - just kindness and enthusiasm.

New athletes and volunteers are always welcome.

Best of luck to all the athletes from Dundrum who are representing the Eastern Region at the Special Olympics Ireland Games this weekend.

You’ve all put in huge work behind the scenes early mornings, training sessions, setbacks overcome, and real commitment to your teams and yourselves. That effort is what has brought you to this stage.

This week is about more than competition. It’s about experience, pride, teamwork, and enjoying every moment with your teammates and the wider Special Olympics Ireland community.

Play your best, support each other, and take in everything the Games have to offer. No matter the results, you’ve already achieved something to be proud of by getting here.

Wishing you all a fantastic Games filled with great performances, friendships, and memories that will last long after the final whistle. 🏅

Dundrum Special Olympics FC are hosting a Table Quiz on the 27th of May in The Goat, Goatstown at 7:30 p.m. Tables are €40 for a team of four.

This fundraiser will support our athletes travelling to the National Games and help us purchase much‑needed equipment for the club.

We are also gathering raffle prizes for the night. If you have any unused gift sets at home, or if you know a local business that would be happy to donate a prize, we would be extremely grateful. You can bring items along on the night or contact us and we can arrange collection.

The Hero’s had a mixed day in Coolmine by winning the first game and losing the second. A very enjoyable and satisfying day! ⚽
