Your running journey doesnโ€™t happen overnight. It takes motivation, dedication, consistency, and learning how to balance life around it. Whether thatโ€™s early mornings, late nights, or fitting runs into a busy schedule.

Back in 2023, my first run was just over 2.5km. I didnโ€™t know anything about pacing. I wondered why I was breathless, tired, and couldnโ€™t run for very long. Looking back, I was running far too fast for someone just starting their running journey. It wasnโ€™t perfect, but it was a start.

Fast forward to 2025, and Iโ€™ve completed a marathon๐Ÿฅ‡

The difference wasnโ€™t talent. It was showing up, one run at a time, even on the days I didnโ€™t feel like it. Small steps really do add up to big achievements.

If youโ€™re at the beginning of your running journey, keep going. Donโ€™t compare yourself to anyone else. The only person you need to be better than is the person you were yesterday.

Something small to add to the list of certs this year! I have completed the Leadership: Practical Skills by Chris Croft, gaining practical knowledge in team leadership, motivation, delegation, communication, and effective management techniques.

Developing skills in leading teams with confidence, improving workplace productivity, and applying leadership strategies in real-world situations.

Excited to share that Iโ€™ve officially completed my certification in Lifestyle Medicine from RCSI! ๐ŸŽ“

I spent a lot of time last summer diving into how everyday habits like nutrition, movement, sleep,
stress, and connection can have such a powerful impact on our health and wellbeing.

Iโ€™m really looking forward to bringing what Iโ€™ve learned into my work and helping others create healthier and more sustainable lifestyles.
