By now plenty of you might’ve heard that I’m heading up Mayo’s highest mountain, Mweelrea, to raise funds for the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association as part of Adrian Harkin’s Summit 2 Sea for MND challenge. Adrian set up Inish Adventures in Moville and was diagnosed with MND in 2022. This Saturday, 20th of April, teams will be circumnavigating Ireland by kayak, as well as heading up the 32 highest peaks in each county. If any of you would be willing to donate a few bob there’s a sponsor sheet in the shop or you can donate online at https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/Summit2SeaforMND Everyone is invited to get out and climb a hill or paddle a bit (safely!) on the day as well.
