Another great morning for our Claremorris AFC U10 Girls! 💚🤍

A huge well done to all the girls who lined out for our matches against Partry this morning. It was fantastic to get more game time, with plenty of smiles, great teamwork and lots of brilliant football on show. 👏⚽

There will be no training tomorrow, giving everyone a well-earned break before cheering on Mayo in the All-Ireland Final.

The U10 Academy girls were delighted to receive their new Claremorris AFC Academy jerseys, presented by former Claremorris AFC players Bonnie Walsh and Zainab Naeem, who now proudly represent Mayo FC at youth level. It was fantastic for our young players to meet them and see where hard work, commitment and dedication can take you.

A big thank you to Bonnie and Zainab for taking the time to present the jerseys and inspire the next generation of Claremorris AFC players. 💚⚽

For anyone who wasn’t with us last Sunday, don’t worry—we’ll have your jersey ready for you at our next session.

Not so long ago, these three were standing exactly where our young Academy players are today, proudly wearing the green and white of Claremorris AFC. Seeing former players return to inspire the next generation is what our club is all about.

⚽💚 U10 Academy Boys Receive Their New Jerseys! 💚⚽

A special evening for our U10 Academy squad as they proudly received their brand-new Academy jerseys, generously sponsored by CBE.

A huge thank you to CBE for their fantastic support of youth football. Your sponsorship ensures our young players can wear the Claremorris AFC colours with pride as they continue their football journey.

The jerseys were presented by Ethan Grehan, currently with the Sligo Rovers U14 Academy. Ethan’s story is one that will inspire every boy in this photo—he started his football journey right here at Claremorris AFC, proving that hard work, dedication, and enjoying the game can open exciting opportunities.

To have one of our own return to present the jerseys made the occasion even more special. We hope Ethan’s journey inspires this talented group as they create memories of their own in the green and white.

Best of luck to all our U10 Academy players this season. We can’t wait to watch you grow, learn and enjoy every minute on the pitch.

Mayo Super Cup Quarter-Final

A brilliant team performance saw Claremorris Junior Men secure a hard-fought 2-1 victory away to Glenhest and book their place in the semi-final this evening.

Claremorris opened the scoring when Cathal Walsh finished from a Liam McCormack cross to make it 1-0. Glenhest responded quickly to level the game at 1-1 with a headed goal.

Claremorris kept the pressure on, and after Simon Butler was fouled on the edge of the box, Mark Maloney stepped up to curl a superb free kick into the top corner, giving Claremorris a 2-1 lead at half-time.

The second half was a tough battle, with Glenhest putting Claremorris under pressure early on. Solid defending and some important saves from Pete Murphy helped keep the hosts out. Claremorris also created several chances to extend the lead, but the score remained unchanged.

Final score: Glenhest 1-2 Claremorris

A fantastic win and a place in the Mayo Super Cup semi-final. Well done, lads!

Oh no… all the cupcakes have escaped! 😱

Our brave little unicorns had one very important mission at training this morning: dribble, dodge, turn and race the cupcakes safely back to the cabin before they disappeared forever! 🌈⚽🧁

There were plenty of giggles, some speedy unicorns, and every cupcake made it home safe. Mission accomplished! 💪✨
