Meet Evelina, one of our Pilates instructors here at Embody ✨
We’re delighted to welcome Evelina to the Embody team! From her teaching style to what she enjoys outside the studio, here’s a little about one of our newest instructors.
What do you love most about teaching at Embody?
“I love the atmosphere at Embody. There’s such a genuine sense of community, and it’s lovely to be part of a studio where people enjoy coming to move, support one another and have fun along the way.”
How would you describe your teaching style?
Welcoming • Supportive • Flowing
What do you hope clients take away from your classes?
“I hope everyone leaves feeling more connected to their body and with a little more confidence than when they arrived. Whether you’re completely new to Pilates or have been practising for years, my aim is for everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the class.”
What do you enjoy outside the studio?
“Having recently moved to Wicklow, you’ll usually find me walking in the hills, exploring the coastline, reading a good novel, enjoying a coffee or sharing a meal with friends.”
You’ll find Evelina teaching at Embody throughout the week. We’d love you to come along, say hello and join her for a class 🤍

There are a few things we hear all the time 👀
“You need to be flexible before starting.”
“Pilates looks easy.”
“Isn’t it just stretching?”
The reality? Slow and controlled doesn’t mean easy. Pilates challenges strength, balance and coordination in ways people often don’t expect.
And while many people start Pilates for one reason — stronger core, better posture, less back pain — they often stay for the benefits they weren’t expecting too. More energy, moving more comfortably, feeling stronger in everyday life and simply feeling better in their body 🤍

People often start Pilates hoping to feel stronger or improve their posture, however the benefits usually go far beyond that.
Over time, clients often notice:
• better mobility
• improved balance
• more energy
• less tension and stiffness
• better sleep
• feeling calmer and more connected mentally
One of the reasons Pilates is so effective is that it focuses on how your body moves and functions as a whole — not just one muscle group or fitness goal.
The changes can feel subtle at first, but they build over time and start to show up in everyday life too 🤍.

Starting Pilates can feel intimidating — especially if you think you need to already be flexible, strong, or know what you’re doing.
At Embody, that’s never the expectation.
Our classes are designed to feel supportive, welcoming, and approachable from the moment you walk through the door. Whether you’re completely new to Pilates or returning after time away, our instructors guide you throughout the class with clear instruction, modifications, and plenty of encouragement.
We focus on quality of movement over rushing through exercises — helping you build strength, mobility, control, and confidence in your body at your own pace.
Most people leave their first class feeling taller, stronger, and more capable than when they arrived.
If you’ve been thinking about trying Pilates, we’d love to welcome you into the studio.

This month’s theme in the studio is **Lengthen & Lift**.
It’s all about creating space in your body — and then learning how to support it with strength.
Here’s how the month will flow:
Week 1: Release tension in the hamstrings and pelvis
Week 2: Improve movement in the mid-spine
Week 3: Build strength through the back body
Week 4: Bring it all together into smooth, flowing movement
*In simple terms:*
Release → Move → Strengthen → Flow
*What does “Lengthen & Lift” mean?*
*Lengthen* = create space in the body
*Lift* = support that space with strength
Without length, we feel tight and compressed.
Without lift, we collapse instead of controlling the movement.
This month is about finding that balance — moving with ease and strength. ✨

Pilates is everywhere right now, which is so great to see. But with so many options out there, the quality can really vary.
What matters most is how it’s taught. With expert instruction, real attention to detail, and clear, supportive guidance, it’s not about pushing harder — it’s about moving well, building strength over time, and actually feeling better in your body.
When it’s done right, each class has purpose behind it. You’re not just ticking a box, you’re making steady, sustainable progress. That’s exactly what we focus on at Embody.
Whether you’re brand new or just looking to build on what you’re already doing, we’ll guide you every step of the way.

A few words from one of our lovely clients 🤍. Thank you for sharing this with us.

There’s an expectation that workouts need to feel intense or exhausting to be effective.
Pilates feels different.
It’s about moving with control, building strength gradually, and feeling supported rather than pushed past your limits.
You might feel challenged, but you should leave feeling more connected, more balanced, and more at ease. That’s how you know it’s working.

April in the studio 🤍
This month, we’re turning our attention to the upper body with our Arm Awakening theme.
You’ll start to notice more focus on shoulder stability and arm strength in class, with an emphasis on building strength in a way that feels supported and connected, rather than tense or overworked.
As the weeks progress, we’ll layer this into more dynamic, full-body movement, helping you feel stronger, more open through the chest, and more connected through your upper body and core.
It’s a subtle shift, but one that makes a real difference to how you move and feel.
