A partial solar eclipse will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, 12 August.
Looking directly at the sun can cause serious and permanent eye damage. If you plan to view the eclipse, always use certified solar eclipse glasses or a solar viewer and make sure children are supervised.
Ordinary sunglasses are not safe for viewing an eclipse. Never look directly at the sun through binoculars or a telescope.
Protect your eyes and enjoy the eclipse safely.

We like many of you are feeling sad and upset by recent tragedies in our community however we are going to hold our planned family fun day and provide an opportunity for us all to come together and highlight our community spirit.
Please join us even if you just want to drop over for a short while
As the Summer Project reaches it conclusion, All of us at Bray Family Resource and Development Project and Connect Little Bray would like to welcome everyone to our Family Fun Day on Thursday 13th 2026 from 2pm until 6pm to celebrate not only the end of the Summer Project but also the 40th Anniversary of the centre. On the Day we will have various activities for all the family.

Dog found in ard Chualann has has been brought to pete the vets as he had a wound on him if not collected he will be collected by the dog warden if anyone recognises can they pass the information onto the owner

Some information on the development at top of blind lane.
The estate forum along with the resource center have worked tirelessly to get information on this development.
DLRCC planning department and enforcement have confirmed that the complete development site within the lands of dun laoghaire rathdown county council as does the access road at blind lane. Wicklow county council has no remit in this development.
After several meeting with the head of durkan development he is eager to work with us to ensure safety of all residents is assured.
He has implemented the road safety plan that is a condition of the planning.
He has assured us that a flag man will be in place for heavy vehicles coming in and out of the main entrance allowing these vehicles to only drive at walking pace.
Traffic monitoring will also be implemented at blind lane.
Broaders well is to be protected from any construction damage as is the grotto
Monthly meeting with the developer will take place to allow for us to update residents at all time.
All new safety signage is to be placed along route and clearly visible to traffic.
Any issues or concerns that need attention immediately should be reported to the resource center so we can deal with them immediately.
We hope that residents will be patient if they are held up behind any site traffic but please understand that this is about children safety

Today we remember jimmy W***y tara jodie and Kelsey and their angel baby as the 10th anniversary occurs. We also remember Sylvia, her husband and children.
Faßaroe estate forum were delighted to be able to partake in the community project of refurbishing the grotto for a candle light vigil tonight at 7pm with a balloon release by the family. Ben invites all in the community to attend and remember their loved ones side by side with him and his family.
A big thanks to those who gave up their time free of charge to help with the grotto it looks great....
David Hackman of dargle grab for removing the boulders, james mason and anto delayed for the mammoth task of the ground works but the biggest thanks must go to ben lynch himself and his son jonny who worked tirelessly for 3 weeks to have it ready for tonight......yous are a credit to this community

Just letting you all know that Beech Road has reopened that the buses are back going to Palermo.
