Aughrim Athletics Club

Aughrim Athletics Club has been set up to promote Athletics in Aughrim, Co Wicklow for young and old. So there should be some one to run with and push you on.

We are a new club registered with Athletics Ireland since 2012. We have two main training nights, Monday at 19.00 to 20.00 and Wednesday at 20.30 to approx 21.30. There is a mix of levels involved in the club from starters to competitors. Interval training is done on Monday nights and normally a run on Wednesday. The cost is 20 euro to cover membership and insurance. There is a weekly fee of 2 eur

Aughrim Athletics Club is delighted to announce the recipient of this year's Nora Lalor Perpetual Sheild is Liliana Jeawon.

Lilianas confidence has just soared this Athletics Season and she has made an extraordinary amount of improvement across all disciplines ♥️

Notable performances include several top 20 finishes in the Athletics Wicklow Juvenile League and a 4th place finish at the Community Games County Athletics Finals.

Keep up the fantastic work and we cant wait to see what the 2026/2027 season brings 🙌
