A huge well done to everyone who took part in the Termonfeckin Half Marathon, Termonfeckin 4 Mile Road Race, and the Fingal 10K. Your hard work and determination, especially in such challenging conditions, were incredible to see.

If you're looking for a great way to get the kids outside, moving, and making new friends, Ardee & District A.C. Juveniles is the perfect place for them!

Right now, our summer Track & Field season is in full swing every Tuesday and Thursday from 6.30pm - 7.30pm at 'The School Field' on Drogheda Road.
Whether your child can make both sessions a week or just one, they are more than welcome to join in the fun!

It’s all about having fun while learning awesome new skills like sprinting, long jump, hurdles, and turbo javelin!

We have a massive club day coming up on August 16th, and we want it to be our biggest and best one yet! We would love for new members to join us now so they can train, build their confidence, and be fully ready to take part in the big day.

Who can join the summer fun?

⚡ Ages 5 & 6: A brilliant, high-energy introduction to athletics running through until August. (Parents must stay for the hour to cheer them on!)

🏅 Ages 7+ (or turning 7 this year): Training twice a week to stay fit, healthy, and sharp.

5000 Steps for 20,000 Feet – Nobber Cancer Support 💙

Well done to all the Ardee & District AC members who took part in the 5000 Steps for 20,000 Feet charity run/walk in Lobinstown on Monday evening.

The event was organised in support of Denise, Suzanne and Claire as they prepare for their sponsored skydive, raising funds for Nobber Cancer Support.

A special congratulations to our own Emma, who was the first female finisher, and Max, who was the first Under-16 finisher. 🏆👏

It was fantastic to see so many club members supporting such a worthwhile cause on a beautiful summer evening. Well done to everyone who ran, walked, volunteered, donated, and cheered from the sidelines.

📢 Ardee & District AC Needs Coaches! 📢

We are looking for more coaches to help support the growing number of juvenile athletes in our club.

A Level 1 Coaching Course is being organised, and this is a great opportunity for anyone who would like to get involved in coaching. Whether you're a current parent, volunteer, athlete, former athlete, or previous coach, we'd love to hear from you.

Coaching is a rewarding way to give back to the club, help athletes develop, and be part of their sporting journey. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🌟

Proposed Course Dates:
📅 Weekend 1: 25th & 26th September
📅 Weekend 2: 9th & 10th October

The Friday evening sessions will be short online sessions (2–3 hours), while the Saturday sessions will take place on the track and focus on practical coaching skills across a range of athletics events.

If you have ever considered coaching, now is the perfect time to get involved. Even if you're only thinking about it, we'd be delighted to chat with you.

🎉 Milestone Celebrations at Deerpark, Carlanstown parkrun 🎉

It was a special morning at Deerpark, Carlanstown parkrun as three of our Ardee & District AC members celebrated major parkrun milestones.

🏅 Joan McQuillan completed her 100th parkrun
🏅 Emma McArdle completed her 50th parkrun🏅 Gabriel McArdle completed his 25th parkrun

A number of club members travelled to Carlanstown to support the celebrations, with many joining them on the run and helping to make the occasion even more memorable.

Congratulations to Joan, Emma and Gabriel on these fantastic achievements. Here's to many more parkruns and milestones ahead! 💙💛

Deerpark parkrun Carlanstown

Just home from a fantastic evening at the Blackrock Races with our Ardee and District Athletics Club juveniles. Here's a selection of action shots and fun moments from a brilliant night of racing, teamwork and club spirit. We couldn't be prouder of every athlete who represented the club so well.

A huge thank you to Blackrock AC for hosting such a well-organised event and to all the volunteers and officials who helped make the evening such a success.

A full medals recap will follow tomorrow, but for now there's plenty to celebrate. Well done everyone!

A fantastic weekend for our juvenile athletes at Ardee & District AC at the Leinster Championships.

Charlotte delivered a brilliant performance in the shot put to secure a Leinster bronze medal. A fantastic achievement and a well deserved reward for all her hard work and dedication.

Aoife continued her excellent form with an outstanding performance to claim a Leinster silver medal. A huge achievement at provincial level and another proud moment for the club.

Competing in his first ever Leinster Championships, Alfie produced a superb run in the 1500m, finishing 6th in a time of 4:59. To finish sixth in Leinster on his debut appearance is a fantastic achievement and a sign of great things to come.

Congratulations to all three athletes on representing Ardee & District AC with pride. We are incredibly proud of your performances and the commitment you've shown throughout the season.

A fantastic day of racing at the Glenmore Race Challenge 2026, with Ardee & District A.C. members taking on the 5K, 10K, 10 Mile and Half Marathon distances. 💙💚

Special congratulations to: 🏆 Leo – 1st Male Over 60 🔥 Kevin and Tracey – both recording superb PBs in the 5K 🔥 Dave Symmons – an incredible second sub-20-minute 5K PB in just two weeks! A brilliant achievement and a testament to all the hard work paying off. 👏💪

Whether chasing a PB, stepping up in distance or simply enjoying the challenge, all our runners represented the club with pride and determination.

Well done to everyone who took part and flew the Ardee colours so proudly. 💙💚🏅
