Diving has taught me much more than how to be comfortable underwater.

It has taught me how to face fear without always needing to defeat it. How to accept that I have limitations, and that acknowledging them doesn’t make me weaker.

It has also taught me about boundaries. There are limits you respect not because you’re afraid to go further, but because you understand yourself well enough to know when enough is enough.

Maybe that’s what I’ve carried with me most from the ocean.

Courage isn’t always about pushing further. Sometimes it’s knowing your limits, respecting them, and still having the confidence to keep going.
