You will learn how biomechanical understanding and precise movement strategies can support safer, more effective Pilates sessions for spinal conditions.

This workshop is designed to give Pilates teachers and movement educators practical tools to safely work with clients presenting with spinal pathologies such as:
• Spondylosis
• Spondylitis
• Spondylolisthesis
• Spinal stenosis
• Herniated nucleus pulposus (HNP)
Workshop focus:
• Understanding spinal pathologies for movement teachers.
• The principles and power of sagittal alignment biomechanics.
• Deepen Base of Support awareness and practical application.
• Safe and effective exercise application for spinal conditions.

Spinal Care II is the continuation of Spinal Care I, which included the power of sagittal correction, adding rotational breathing for spinal asymmetries learned through body block theory adapted from the Schroth method.

The correction itself still anchors to Spinal Care I principles, focusing on the power of sagittal alignment and deeper Base of Support awareness. Finally, Spinal Care II integrates multiplanar corrections to create connection between the trunk, upper body, and lower body in an asymmetrical body.

Both Spinal Care I and II workshops are designed not only for theoretical understanding, but also for kinesthetic learning through your own body.
Over 4 intensive days, participants will personally experience the correction principles in their own body movement and posture. We believe that when practitioners can truly feel the changes in their own body, they develop deeper understanding, empathy, and better application when working with clients.
