We had disappointing last 2 days at EUROSAF European Match Race Championship. To many mistakes in the races we were ahead and we needed 1 point to be in the quarters.
We are also missing quality training against the top teams.

We have finished Day 1 of the EUROSAF Open European Match Race Championship 2019 with the 2-2 score. For now we all in the middle of the pack with the 2 losses coming in the last meters before the finish line.

With shifty and gusty NE wind we had an amazing Semi-final vs. Eric Monnin and his Capvis Swiss Match Race Team with many lead changes in almost every match and we ended up on the losing side with 3-2 score. In the Petit-final we just couldn't get back in the rhythm and again we finished on the 4th place.
It was a great warm up before the EUROSAF Open European Championship 2019 next weekend.

No Wind = No Racing on Day 2...we are in the Semi-final starting tommorow at 9:00AM and our opponent is Capvis Swiss Match Race Team current European Champions and 2nd on World Sailing Open Match Race Ranking.

After Day 1 at European Match Race Tour Grand Final we are in a 3 way tie for 2nd place...we have another Round Robin tommorow before the Finals on Sunday.
