It is with deep sadness that we mark the passing of Scott Hastings – a true legend of the game and a friend to so many of us at Hong Kong Scottish.

Scott spent many memorable events with our community, bringing warmth, spirit, and a genuine love for the game. Some of our most treasured memories together were at our HK Sevens breakfast in 2025 where he was very much part of the HK Scottish clan, and the many My Name’5 Doddie HK dinners in which he played a significant ambassadorial role.

We will miss him greatly. Our thoughts are with his family, loved ones, and everyone whose lives he touched.

Thank you, Scott, for the laughs, the kindness, and the moments we’ll never forget💙
