Thanks 啱Channel interview to our Aberdeen's track session. Both Rocky and Andrew has been interviewed and of course our our lovely JC.
Our aberdeen track group started in 2006 and is still going strong with the intention to group and encourage like minded people to train hard and sweat heaps together.
THE GONE RUNNERS NIGHT AT THE RACES! 6th April 2023
We take our running seriously, but we also take our fun seriously too and last night was our first return to "Happy Wednesday" since the restrictions were lifted.
We did this Pre-Covid and how wonderful to be able to do it again.
The horse knowledge on show was incredible. Everyone an expert! 😆 In the end we kept picking the brown one!! The going was "good to yielding" by the end of the evening but I blame the beer not the torrential downpour! 🌨️
Thankyou to the Hong Kong Jockey Club for organizing this for us, Vikki Lam in particular!. It was a great evening indeed!

THE GONE RUNNERS SATURDAY SUMMER LEAGUE IS BACK!
Your motivation to run each Saturday right through the heat of the summer. In fact the hotter and more humid, the better.
Each Saturday we head out on either the 10k route, or the 5k route, or maybe both.
Your fastest time on the route during the summer season serves as your base time. Added to this you get points for effort.
You get a point for turning up. The more humid, the more points. The hotter, the more points, if its raining, more points, Amber, Black crazy points, T1, T3, T8, T10 well you understand!.
Age and gender graded the person(s) with the most points at the end of the summer (end of September) is awarded The Golden Boot.
You have to record your run each Saturday on the GR Saturday Run segment on Strava, it can be later in the day if you like, but the group run starts at 8.30am, WanchaI Gap Park.

𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗔𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗛! - The big day is here!
After 3 months of focused training the big day is finally here. Its been a great experience in the club seeing people get fitter, get enthusiastic, get excited (and just a bit nervous!).
Well all that left to do now is to enjoy the experience.
Whether you are doing the 10k, the Half of the Full Marathon, be it casing a place, a PB, of just getting to the end , we wish you all the best of luck.
It is so wonderful to see real racing back again and to get 37,000 people out on the streets of Hong Kong will be a wonderful sight after so long.
The camaraderie in the Gone Runners has been magnificent and we will be cheering everyone on throughout the morning.
But is doesn't stop here, beyond the Stan Chart we will be continuing training. Many people will be shifting gears to mid year races in Europe both trail and Road and we will be there to support you.

MEET ESZTER CSILLAG! --- Come and meet one of our star Gone Running/Joint Dynamics Team members.
Most of us can only dream of coming in the top 10 of a race like UTMB, or coming 4th in the world at the World Mountain and Trail Racing Championships which is stacked with the best trail runners in the world.
Eszter has been there, done that.... and yet not been racing that long.
We continue our series of MEET THE CHAMPS with a talk this week from Eszter. There are not many places you can meet such a cluster of world class athletes but just at the moment our Gone Running/Joint Dynamics Team has a whole list.
