剛在今年6月日本加賀溫泉越野賽100公里組別奪得女子組亞軍的🇯🇵日本精英跑手 井筒智子 (Tomoko Izutsu) 將會出戰4TUL Rocker 37km 組別。

《Japanese elite runner Tomoko Izutsu challenges 4TUL Rocker》
Other than a host of enthusiastic local runners, 4TUL also attracts many overseas runners, as it is a unique trail race that participants want to join to experience competing on Hong Kong’s four trails.

Tomoko Izutsu, the Japanese elite runner who recently secured second place in the women’s 100km category at the Kaga Spa Trail Endurance 100 by UTMB in Japan this June, will compete in the 4TUL Rocker 37km category.

Tomoko Izutsu is actually sponsored by the Japanese energy food brand Oiena. NRNG happens to be the exclusive distributor for Oiena, so you can purchase it at a discounted price when registering for the race. Oiena comes in three flavours, and each 140g pack provides over 500kcal of energy 💪

4TUL, which stands for 4 Trails Ultra Loop, started in 2020. The route is designed around Hong Kong’s four major trails: the MacLehose Trail, Wilson Trail, Hong Kong Island Trail, and Lantau Trail.
The 6th edition of 4TUL will take place from March 5th to 7th, 2027, and registration is now open. This is a truly unique race across Hong Kong’s four major trails—a challenging course that requires you to catch ferries and the MTR. Don’t miss out: sign up now to secure your spot!

各位跑手，日期已經正式敲定！由 No Race No Goal 主辦嘅極限越野盛事 4TUL 2027 (Four Trails Ultra Loop) 將於 2027 年 3 月 5 至 7 日 正式開跑！🔥

作為專為長距離及超馬跑手而生嘅品牌，Mount to Coast 將會全力支持 4TUL 2027，由訓練備戰到比賽當日，一路陪住大家挑戰極限、安全完賽！👊✨

貫穿麥理浩徑、衛奕信徑、港島徑同鳳凰徑，4TUL 唔單止考驗體力，更係一場對「配速策略」同「裝備選擇」嘅嚴導考驗。同大家拆解 4TUL 賽事特性同完賽心法 💡👇

📊 一、4TUL 2027 賽事三大特點與考驗

1️⃣ Road-to-Trail 高比例混合路面 🛣️⛰️
4TUL 包含大量連貫山徑之間嘅水泥路、瀝青路同石階。如果鞋底齒紋太深，行硬地容易集中足底壓力；如果跑鞋避震不足，連續下坡對膝關節嘅衝擊會急劇增加。

2️⃣ 長時間奔跑導致雙腳發脹 (Foot Volume Expansion) 🦶
根據運動科學數據，跑手喺進行 10-30 小時以上嘅超馬賽事時，雙腳會因充血同微組織液積聚而變大 0.5 到 1 個鞋碼！傳統跑鞋如果鞋帶綁死，後半程會嚴重壓迫腳背，甚至引發水泡同筋膜炎。

3️⃣ 跨晝夜配速與肌肉疲勞管理 (Fatigue Management) ⏱️
賽程跨越 3 日（5-7/3），氣溫變化大。中底泡棉如果喺比賽中段衰減（Bottoming Out），雙腳肌肉要承受額外衝擊，極易引發抽筋。

One Go will return this year, the distance will be slightly shorter than previous version, but with a higher elevation gain. In addition, the 4-leg relay race will also return.

A new Adventurer category (March 5th) has been added to provide an option for those who wish to participate but not to compete in the event.
