This week Will Redford Racing and the team were invited to BBC Essex to talk about our recent international racing success and HISTORY making GT victory in Guyana’s first-ever FIA approved race hosted by GT Challenge de las Américas at the South Dakota Circuit.

Racing the Peter Lewis Construction AMG GT3 under the Bourne GT banner, Will stormed to victory beating South America’s top racing talent in a grid of 25+ GT cars.

Bourne GT ran a further 3 cars as part of the event with drivers Ed Pead Motorsport Danny Harrison & Paul Rivett all winning their respective classes.

A huge thank you to the team at BBC Essex for having us on. Yes Ian, we really did need to book more baggage on the way home for all the teams trophies… 🏆

GT3 Race Winners! 🏆

Guyana you have been incredible 🇬🇾

From turning my first lap in a GT3 car yesterday to an overall win on my debut in a field of 20 cars.

A dodgy wheel nut unfortunately lost us a lot of time in race 2 while switching to wet tyres but we fought back to P2 at the flag.

A massive thank you to Peter Lewis , Ronald and the rest of the Lewis family. Jumbo Jet Events , Bourne HPP and my crew for believing and trusting me with this opportunity.

A massive thank you also to the Guyanese people for all their support.

It's now time to celebrate, see you soon 😉👊

After missing all of testing and only getting my first laps this morning due to a firmware issue I don't think we could've asked for much more.

For those that don't know, we are currently running completely blind without a dash display, driving on just feel alone.

I want to send a massive thank you to my crew; Jim, Sion and Rob for getting the car into a place we can be competitive in such a short amount of time.
