Some Rivalries Never Fade....
One of the oldest club rivalries in Jarra West football, has only evolved with time but never fades.
In the 90s, it was Sitaba Vs NPE. In the early 2000s, it shifts to Sitaba Vs AC Matarr and sometime in 2011 on wards, when the "Soma Congne Football" came to life. It took a new dimension and become Sateba Vs Angalfuta and yet at District level, again Sitaba Vs Angalfuta.
Yes the names keep changing depending on the competition and time, but the core remains and that! Never fades....
Soma Sitaba Vs Angalfuta shall remain one of the biggest fixtures and this is down to the power embedded on the pride in community football. Two strong football mad communities of Soma who shall always battle for supremacy, dominance and local bragging rights. As generations past, the battles may not be as fierce as they used to be, but rivalry never fades.

Soma Sitaba FC ame into this fixture on the back of a (2-0) win over Jiffin, as they bounce back from their opening game defeat to Dibba Oil FC. They will be looking forward to get one over one of the most in-formed teams rightnow in the tournament, Angalfuta, who are also their old time traditional rivals.
On the opposite side, stood Angalfuta FC. A team filled with excitement and self believe after winning two of their opening fixtures in the tournament's percieved Group of Death. The latest of those wins came on the back of another tournament favourites Dibba Oil FC. Now they face Sitaba in a fixture that has never come easy and this tike is no exception.
As rival game counts little on form or prestige but more of who is ready to rise to the occasion and throwing everything on thebline for the local bragging rights.
Sitaba or Angalfuta..... The 90mins shall give us the answers.
