CALIFORNIA FC DEFEAT KARABA UTD

Wullingkama California are crowned Champions of the Modou Coker Sponsored Bambo Manneh Memorial Tournament 2026.

From a goalless draw in a tense encounter earlier today at Dembadu mini stadium, California exerts their superiority in winning from a fascinating post match penalty shootout.

Wullingkama California calmly converted 4 of their spot kicks, while Karaba Utd failed to convert two (2) of their spot kicks in a disappointing showing from 12 yards, allowing Wullingkamma to emerge and prevail as winnner of the tournament to continue their impressive showing in Sukuta football.

Both teams came prepared for this showdown. However, Karaba Utd dominated the first proceedings in the first half with their impressive performances after creating so many openings with goal chances upon chances, but continue to falter in front of goal. There and then, California FC persist and refused to allow Karaba Utd make any further use of their creativity from the first period, they regroup and took initiatives with their defensive solidity. They too had their chances but with both sides remaining solid, the game could only be decided in a post match penalty shootouts.

The Winners, Wullingkama California FC went home with a Giant-Trophy and a cash prize of D15,000 while the Runners Up, Karaba Utd received D10,000 as consolation.
