The CAVB Developmental Tournament is here again, and Ghana’s young stars are ready for action! 🔥

Currently in Senegal, our boys are taking part in this important CAVB developmental programme, designed to prepare Africa’s next generation of volleyball talents for the upcoming Youth Olympic Games in Senegal.

Representing Ghana are Justice Amoafo and Daniel Lartey, with Coach Seidu Ajanako leading the charge from the sidelines. 🇬🇭

This is more than just a tournament — it is an opportunity to learn, compete, develop and prepare for the future of African volleyball.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL 39 PARTICIPANTS! 🇬🇭🇳🇬🏐 – FIVB LEVEL 1 COACHING COURSE

Congratulations to all 39 participants who successfully completed and passed the FIVB Level 1 Coaching Course.

The five-day intensive programme, combining theory and practical sessions, has equipped you with modern coaching techniques, knowledge and skills to take your coaching to the next level.

We are confident that this training will create a positive and lasting impact in your coaching endeavours across Ghana 🇬🇭 and Nigeria 🇳🇬.

This year’s edition brought together 27 Ghanaians and 12 Nigerians, making it a truly valuable platform for knowledge sharing, networking and the development of volleyball coaching in our sub-region.

A big thank you to the experienced FIVB Chief Technical Instructor, Mr. Mostafa Ahchouche , the entire organising committee and the Executive Board members (GVF) for their dedication and commitment to making this programme a success.

We also sincerely appreciate the invaluable support of the Ghana Olympic Committee, Olympic Solidarity and the National Sports Authority for their contribution towards the success of the course.

A special word of appreciation to President George Tetteh Esq. for his leadership and efforts in bringing this important initiative together. Well done, President! 👏🏾

And to the CAVB President, Madam Bouchra Hajij, words cannot adequately express the depth of our appreciation. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to the development of volleyball in Africa.

From the official opening ceremony to the engaging theoretical sessions and hands-on practical exercises, participants were fully immersed in the learning experience.

As we celebrate Ghana’s qualification for the Africa Women’s Nations Cup in Kenya, it is only fitting that we pay special tribute to the technical team led by Coach Abdul Rahman Danladi.

The team’s performance in Abidjan was nothing short of exceptional. Under his leadership, Ghana recorded four consecutive straight-set victories, showcasing tactical discipline, technical superiority, and unwavering determination.
