The Council of the Ghana Publishers Association (GPA) paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, to discuss key issues affecting the publishing industry, particularly the procurement of teaching and learning materials (TLMs), supplementary readers and developments within the pre-tertiary education sector.

The Ghana Book Development Council presents a virtual workshop for book industry practitioners, under the theme "𝙋𝒖𝙗𝒍𝙞𝒔𝙝𝒊𝙣𝒈 𝒊𝙣 𝑰𝙣𝒅𝙞𝒈𝙚𝒏𝙤𝒖𝙨 𝙇𝒂𝙣𝒈𝙪𝒂𝙜𝒆𝙨: 𝑽𝙚𝒏𝙩𝒖𝙧𝒊𝙣𝒈 𝒊𝙣𝒕𝙤 𝙒𝒓𝙞𝒕𝙞𝒏𝙜 𝙖𝒏𝙙 𝙏𝒓𝙖𝒏𝙨𝒍𝙖𝒕𝙞𝒐𝙣".

This workshop is designed to equip practitioners with a need to embrace indigenous language publishing and the marketing strategies for indigenous language books.
