At Ace Elite, we're looking to expand our teams and we're especially hoping to welcome more male athletes. We want to show everyone that cheerleading isn't just for girls – it's a sport for everyone.

In June, we travelled to Birmingham to compete, and we were blown away by the incredible talent we saw. One thing that really stood out was the number of male athletes competing on teams across the UK 🇬🇧. They were strong, skilled, confident and an essential part of their teams. It was inspiring to see.

Unfortunately, here in Guernsey, we still face the challenge of people believing cheerleading is "just pom-poms." The reality couldn't be more different.

Cheerleading is one of the most demanding team sports. It takes strength, athleticism, trust, commitment and determination. Athletes learn to stunt, tumble, jump and dance while building confidence, resilience and friendships that can last a lifetime.

Every athlete has an important role, and there is a place for everyone, whatever your age, experience or gender.

If you've ever been curious about cheerleading, why not come along and see what it's really about? You might surprise yourself.
