It will be an afternoon packed full of tennis-related fun for children and adults alike, plus there will be cake 🎾🍰

Drop in or stay for the whole afternoon and please feel free to bring any friends and family who are keen 😁

Well done to the Heworth Tennis Club kilted wonders at today's Burns Birthday Bash tennis tournament 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🎾

Congratulations go to Andy & Sally for winning the Tournament πŸ† with Andy defending his title and also winning the inaugural HTC one point slam 1️⃣

The final was a tense affair with runners up Adam & Di losing by 1 point in the championship tiebreak. Adam also took home the title for best dressed (a thing of beauty) with the wooden spoon going to Jeff and Hollie πŸ₯„

It's fair to say our Tinsel Tennis Tournament was a hit! 🎾 Our biggest turn out to date, new format and lots of Christmas spirit made the afternoon a huge success πŸŽ„ Congratulations to Mel & Andy in 1st, Di & Alban in 2nd, Hollie & Alan taking home the wooden spoon or in this case some sprouts, and Santa's little helpers winning best dressed 😁🎁See you all again on 25th January for the next tournament, I'll give you a hint on the theme...get your tartan out 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
