This weekend our u10s make their much anticipated Flintshire league debut with a double header against Aston Park Rangers.

⚽ Brymbo FC U10’s Annual Fundraiser Tournament – 30/08/2026 🏆

This morning we held our annual fundraiser tournament, and as always, we set out to make it as competitive as possible.

Just like the friendlies and tournaments we have organised throughout the summer, our aim was to provide a tough test for both of our teams while welcoming some fantastic opposition.

With teams travelling from Anglesey, Manchester and the Wirral, the talent, football and competition on show today was absolutely through the roof! 🔥⚽

👏🏼 And a huge thank you to everyone who helped with setting up, running the kitchen, organising the pitches and getting everything ready. Once again, everyone pulled together to help us put on what we believe was the best tournament we could give.

And of course, a massive thank you to all the parents, coaches and players for playing their part and helping make another Brymbo FC tournament such a fantastic day.

​It promises to be a fantastic morning of grassroots football, with teams travelling from as far afield as Anglesey and Manchester.

🟠⚫️ Our U9s enjoyed a night at bowling last night as reward for all their hard work. Well done all keep up the good work 👏

U10s Match Report – Glenavon Harriers (A) | 23/08/2026

A return trip to Division 1 Glenavon Harriers after their visit to the Crick last season, and after an almost four-week break, it was great to have the lads back out on the pitch.

We knew the boys would have to be at their best today, and they started brilliantly. They dominated the opening 20 minutes with excellent football and aggressive pressing.

Credit to Glenavon, they slowly worked their way back into the game and over the next two periods they turned the match in their favour.

Heading into the final 20, we spoke to the lads about digging in and finding that final gear. They responded brilliantly, equalising before piling on the pressure and forcing save after save from the Glenavon keeper.

As is football, with the team pushing forward relentlessly in search of a winner, they were hit with a sucker punch and the game finished 3-2.

A brilliant test against a really top side, and exactly what the lads needed after such a lengthy break. 👏

Isaac was once again the clear standout for the team. His speed and energy carried the team when most had hit the wall.

His equalising goal was a fantastic long-range finish, and every time he got on the ball we looked like we could score.

Match Report - Rhyl Hearts Athletic U9’s v Brymbo FC U9’s - 23/08/2026

Today we travelled up to Rhyl Hearts Athletic for a pre-season friendly, giving the boys another great opportunity to put their hard work in training into practice.

We started the game slowly and, to be honest, we weren’t our usual calm selves. The boys looked a little rushed and struggled to settle into the game in the way we know they can.

But once they found their rhythm, everything started to click. We slowed the game down, got the ball down on the floor and began playing the football we know they can play. The passing became sharper, The press was more intense and not allowing Rhyl the time to play there game. The movement improved and the confidence grew as the game went on.

From that point onwards, the boys played exactly the way we wanted them to. They showed great composure, made good decisions and, most importantly, took everything they have learnt in training and put it into the games.

It was fantastic to see the hard work on the training pitch coming through on match day. The boys should be really proud of themselves — another positive step forward in pre-season and a great example of what they can achieve when they stay calm, trust their ability and play the football we know they can.

Our U13s finally got round to their team day out after it was cancelled a few weeks ago!

The lads headed over to Alderford Lake Inflatable Park and enjoyed every minute! It was great to see them away from the pitch, having fun and enjoying themselves together as a team.

Now the lads are all ready and raring to go for the new season! 💪⚽🧡🖤

Another big moment for our u10s as one of our players Isaac had the first session of his trials with Everton Academy this evening.

Isaac has been a stand out for the team all the way through u8s, u9s and now u10s and everyone at Brymbo Football Club is delighted that he has now been given the chance to step up and show what he’s all about.
