This weekend, we carried out some work on our events area. We have fitted new flooring and a new loading platform at the end of the run. As well as this, we have moved things around to maximise the space available 💪

Here at CSA, we make it our number one goal to give everyone the best possible facility to get fitter, stronger and healthier!

CSA PUSH & PULL 2026 🔥

Our end of year Push & Pull competition is back 👊

This competition is always guaranteed be a great one. A brilliant opportunity to have a great time and hit some big PBs. This year we have added new categories to get more people involved 🔥

Push - Max Axle or Log press (3 attempts to find a 1RM)
Pull - Deadlift (3 attempts to find a 1RM, suits allowed)

Categories - Mens & Womens Novice or Opens

The athlete sign up is now open 💪

Event One - Max Axle Clean & Press

(60s Time limit per lift, highest combined total wins)

3 Nominated lifts per team member

Event Two - Deadlift For Reps

(60s Time limit per team member, highest combined reps total wins)

Event Three - Tag Team Farmers

(10m x 2 lengths per team member, 75s overall time limit)

Event Four - Sandbag Loading Relay

(90s over all time limit)
Class 1 (46 inch loading height)
Women - 40kg sandball, 50kg sandbag, 60kg hussabag

Class 2 (50 inch loading height)
Women - 60kg sandball, 70kg sandbag, 80kg hussabag

Our group class is open to all abilities and experience levels. Come along, learn something new and get stronger!

We’ll work on the basics, event technique and building your overall strength, with exercises and coaching suitable for your current level.

💥Cumberland Summer Strongman Showdown💥

WHAT A DAY!!!!!

Our biggest show yet 🔥

407 people in one place at one time celebrating our amazing sport!!!

On Saturday, we got to see what Strongman and Strongwoman is really all about. Hard work, determination, and passion. Amazing people doing amazing things 🔥

Every show has its challenges and things that dont go perfectly to plan. But because we keep the athletes as our number one priority, we will always find a way to adapt and overcome 💪

One of the things that means the most to us is our athlete ticket incentive. On the day, a massive £515 was paid directly back to athletes through this incentive. We’ve always wanted to create opportunities for strongmen and strongwomen at all levels to not only compete but to have the chance to make money from the sport they love. To see this actually happen is INCREDIBLE 💙

These shows would be nothing without our amazing team. The support we get from our helpers, loaders, and referees is amazing and we can't thank them enough 👏

Finally, we would like to say an overall massive THANK YOU to every athlete, spectator, helper and sponsor for helping us make the Cumberland Summer Strongman Showdown such a huge success 🔥

It’s not just about the strongman and strongwoman action this Saturday. We’ve got you covered when it comes to food, coffee, cake and drinks!

are on site to provide you with fresh coffee and hot drinks all day ☕️

will be supplying fresh hand made cakes because every Strongman show needs cake 🍰

kerbside Kitchen & Grill will also be in attendance serving hot food all day 🍔

Also, dont forget about the fully stocked onsite bar 🍻

And don’t forget, once the competition finishes, we’re keeping the party going with live music from Daniel Mason! 🎤🍻
