Nunnery Wood Saints are looking for a striker for the 26/27 season.

Great achievement yesterday, finishing as runners up in the Evesham tournament,

It wasn’t our day, Unfortunately losing out in the final via the lottery of penalties, but the lads should definitely be proud.

Onwards and upwards though, the lads shown great effort and spirit.

One step further next time.

Nunnery Wood Saints U13s are looking for a talented and motivated striker to join our squad for the upcoming season.

We’re a friendly but ambitious team, focused on player development, strong teamwork, and enjoying the game while competing at a high level.

🔎 What we’re looking for:
• A natural goal scorer with a positive attitude
• Strong work rate and a willingness to learn
• A team player who communicates well and supports others

📍 Training:
Well-structured sessions led by 3 FA-qualified coaches at Sixways (just off M5, Junction 6)

🗓️ Matches:
Saturday mornings in the Evesham Ambassador League

We end the year unfortunately on the losing end of a 2-1 score line.

It wasn't our day today, we came out the blocks a little slow and ended up on the back foot, but we slowly worked our way back in to the game.

Second half was a much better performance, with the Bidford goalkeeper keeping us at bay with a good save tipping Juniors edge of the box effort on to the bar. The keeper could do nothing to stop Thomas from getting his goal, which was well deserved for the energy that Thomas had shown throughout the game.

A deserved MOTM today for Thomas, not only for getting his goal, but for never giving up, chasing everything he could and showing a willing attitude.

We go in to the Christmas break on a high though, although we have lost the last two games, overall the year has been great, the lads have come a long way since the turn of 2025, we will be back stronger in 2026 and look to get back up and running.
