A brilliant performance from the lads this morning as we come away with a 3-0 victory! 🔴⚪

⭐ Devonte was the star of the show, bagging himself a fantastic hat-trick to secure all three goals for the Bush. ⚽⚽⚽

From front to back, every single player put in a shift, working hard for each other and showing great team spirit throughout. Just as importantly, we kept a well-deserved clean sheet with a solid defensive display.

A tough test for Bushbury Athletic today as we fell to a narrow 3-2 defeat away to AFC Goldthorne.
After going 2-0 down, the lads showed great character to fight their way back into the game. Jake pulled one back for us with a superb finish from a corner delivered by Ethan, making it 2-1 and giving us a foothold in the match. Jake's performance at centre-back was outstanding throughout and capped off with a well-taken goal.
We then found ourselves level at 2-2 thanks to T who received the ball from Akli who produced a brilliant piece of play showing skill, pace and strength before calmly slotting the ball into the back of the net. A great move finished off after excellent work from Akli, who provided the assist.
Unfortunately, AFC Goldthorne managed to find a late winner, but there were plenty of positives to take from the game and the effort from every player was there for all to see.
A huge thank you to AFC Goldthorne for hosting us today. We appreciate the hospitality and wish everyone at the club the very best of luck for the upcoming league season.
