Wistow men’s team played their final match of the season against Wiggington on Sunday. They had the tough ask of needing a full 12 point victory to finish top of the division and claim the trophy. They played a fantastic match, dropping just half a point and finishing the season equal on points with Riccall with 132 points each. The title came down to game difference, with Riccall's 981 games and Wistow's 976! They may not have taken the trophy this year, but they have secured another promotion!! Well played to all the Wistow men who have played this year!! 🎾🎾🎾

Wistow men’s team played Fulford earlier this week in the York League Cup. It was a close match involving a tiebreak, but Fulford did just enough to move on to the next round. Well done team 👏🏼

🌟 🎾 OPEN DAY REMINDER 🎾 🌟

Come and join us at WTC tomorrow 10am-1pm to try tennis for free!

On Saturday 12th of September, during the village’s Scarecrow Festival, Wistow Tennis Club will be open to the public to try tennis for free!

Members will be there from 10am til 1pm to welcome all who would like to have a go and all equipment will be provided.

Wistow is a wonderful club to be a part of with coaching, club sessions, socials and tournaments to be enjoyed.

We hope to see many of you come to try it out…

Our men’s team played away at Riccall yesterday and finished with a close result! Just 2 games away from a win. Fantastic effort 👏🏼

Our men’s team have secured promotion into division 6 next year with one game left of the season! ⭐️ What a great season they’ve had!

🇬🇧 From Wistow to the Philippines! 🇵🇭

We are delighted to share some brilliant news from MGM Grand Tennis Club in the Philippines!

Thanks to the money raised by Wistow Tennis Club, Mansasa Good Men Tennis Club have been able to renovate and improve their court, giving their players and local community a fabulous, new place to enjoy the sport we all love!

It’s amazing to see the difference the fundraising has made and to see the new and improved court looking great. Thank you to all the WTC members who contributed towards this project by purchasing the t-shirts. We hope everyone at MGM Grand Tennis Club enjoy many happy years of tennis here!

Another fabulous summer tournament for WTC!

A fun-filled day with 8 couples competing for the championship joined by family and friends!

Thank you to Lucy for organising the event, thank you to everyone who brought home-baked goods for everyone to enjoy and to Domino's Pizza for providing a delicious, well deserved feast afterwards.
