First game of the Season starts Sunday lets av ittt up the cherries 🍒

Great result for us today with a small squad as we ran out 6-1 winners against Springfield. The management team tinkered with formation pre match and it paid off with great performances by the two wing backs Liam Hughes and Lewis Maxwell.

Great communication by everyone and no one getting on each others back helped us get on top and is perfect preparation for the new season as we face the same opposition in our first game.

Every single one of our players contributed today and it was great to watch.

Bad day at the office today for us, the less said about today’s performance the better as we lost 8-0 to Horwich St Mary’s. We will regroup at training on Thursday and look to make amends as we host Poolstock next week.

We dug deep today with a makeshift squad after a few of our normal starters couldn’t be there. We came back from 2-1 down to win 4-2 sealed off with a bullet of a strike from Matty Glover.

Today we drew 2-2 with Cherrybrook Saturday team. We didn’t perform to our usual standards and there is plenty room for improvement but we remain unbeaten during preseason.
