Unfortunately our last game before the summer break got postponed.
So we made good use of a sunny Sunday 😎😎
Pizzas all round and a few pints
Lads had a good run around all together.

Ince Rose Bridge u14s v Heysham Atoms

IRB welcomed Heysham for another tough game of junior rugby.
In really really hot conditions both teams started well .
IRB then got some good field position to send Tyler over from a well planned play, IRB then got on a roll scoring some great team trys from Bobby and Oscar and then two super trys finished superbly by lewis in the same corner. Playing quick rugby set up from good forward play, Mason stepped up with a super chip over to collect himself and stepped through under the posts to take us to half time.
After the break Heysham showed great determination and commitment and went crashing over for a great try and were looking to go over again but a well timed interception from Oscar put IRB in a great position and good hands put Logan S over.
Heysham responded again with a never say die attitude to close the gap.
IRB regrouped and then Olly went in for two well worked long range trys to complete the scoring.
Final score 44-10

Well done everyone a good win and good performance, great to see more people improving.

Ince Rose Bridge u14s v Heysham Atoms

IRB travelled over to Heysham for another tough game of junior rugby.
In really windy conditions both teams started well completing sets. IRB then got on a roll scoring some great individual trys and some super team trys after showing good hands and skill to score from distance to take a well deserved 26-0 half time lead.
After the break and a few changes for IRB, a determined Heysham gained some momemtum after IRB gave away some penalties to go over for two well worked trys.
IRB then regrouped and got back on track to go down the field and finish a great set with a pinpoint kick to the corner to finish the scoring.
Final score 30-10

Tomorrow our lads hit the road over to Heysham for our game ⚫️🔴

Ince Rose Bridge u14s v Hindpool Tigers.

IRB welcomed Hindpool Tigers down to Pinfold street for another great game of junior rugby.
In really hot conditions both teams started well completing sets. IRB finally got some good field postion after a good break from Mason, with Olly crashing over.
IRB continued with some good energy to get on a roll, with Oscar stepping through and Olly from long distance to take a16-0 lead at the break.
After the break Hindpool rallied and had a good spell with possession, good work from there forwards gave the backs some opportunities but IRB defense kept them at bay.
Ince again got on the front after a good kicking game from the backs gained field position, with quick plays from the forwards it gave Olly space to go over and great hands outwide put Declan in at the corner to complete the scoring. 28-0
Well done everyone a very good team performance against a very tough team.
