What a fantastic morning for our U8’s 🦈

The team played absolutely amazing from start to finish, showing fantastic teamwork, determination and plenty of skill. We’re so proud to say they finished as overall winners of the day!

A huge well done to Jay, who stepped up as head coach. He was absolutely fantastic and did a brilliant job guiding the team!

And finally, a massive thank you to Ince Rose Bridge Sports and Community Club for hosting and organising such a fun and enjoyable tournament for all the teams. It was a brilliant morning of rugby!

This Sunday sees our sharks back in action at Ince Rose Bridge Sports and Community Club joining them for their junior festival.

Magic Weekend may be taking centre stage in the Super League, but we saw plenty of magic from our U8s this weekend! ✨

The Reds travelled to Westhoughton, while the Blues were at home to face Hindley.

Across both games, the players produced some fantastic rugby, with brilliant teamwork, great skills, and some superb tries. It was fantastic to see everyone giving their all, supporting their teammates, and enjoying every minute on the pitch.

This morning was a scorcher at Shevington Sharks as we hosted St Jude’s and Orrell St James ☀️

The Sharks were on fire, showing some fantastic footwork, great teamwork, and plenty of determination throughout the morning. It was brilliant to see the players putting the skills they’ve been working on in training into practice, with some excellent ball movement, good offloads, and lots of confident passing on display.

Most importantly, over 50 players were in action again today, representing their clubs with energy, enthusiasm, and big smiles.

A huge well done to all the players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who made it another great morning of rugby league.

On Sunday our sharks had an amazing morning!

65 children took part from Shevington Sharks, Thatto Heath, Haresfinch and Clock Face, showing some outstanding rugby skills and teamwork throughout the morning.

A special highlight was seeing one team made up of players from each club, demonstrating fantastic sportsmanship, friendship and the true spirit of the game.

Well done to all the players who took part and a huge congratulations to all our Players of the Match! ⭐
