ALLAN PICKFORD CUP

The 2nd game in this new annual cup took place last night at Leigh TTC.

It was, like the first match a fantastic night of Table Tennis.

Leigh took a 14 point lead into this match and after some brilliant games increased their lead to 41 points (this was over 72 games, so less than a point a game difference) and deservedly won the Cup.

Allan's wife Jean and son Ian came along to watch, with Jean presenting the trophy - it was a great tribute to Allan which I am sure he was watching.

We will be back next year to try and win the Cup.

LIVERPOOL 4 STAR TOURNAMENT

A fantastic day at the 4 star with every player from the club performing remarkably well - so proud of them all. Skill, great attitude and unbelievable determination from them all.

Harvey - winner of Band 6!!!!
David - runner up in Band 5
Nathan C - semi final in Band 5 and last 16 in Band 4
Valdas - quarter final in Band 4
Harry - last 16 in Band 6
Nathan W - competed so well in Band 6 against very experienced opponent's.

A 4 star competition is the highest level you can compete in with England internationals amongst the entries.

ALLAN PICKFORD CUP

The first leg of the Allan Pickford Cup was played between Wigan TTC and Leigh St George TTC.

What a fantastic night of high class TT, with every player giving it their all.

After 36 games, LSG take a narrow lead of 14 points (325 to 311) into the 2nd leg.

This will be played on Monday at Leigh Miners Social Club. Please come along to support your team.

It will be another great night.

LIVERPOOL 4 STAR COMP

This coming weekend is the prestigious Liverpool 4 Star competion. - this is the highest level TT in the North West.

Club members - Valdas Šemiotas David Lawless Nathan Collins, Harry W, Harvey B and Nathan W, have all entered. Probably the most from a single club.!
It will be a test but it's great to see you all competing.

TT KIDZ

Our TT Kidz 8 week programme finished tonight with 12 young players taking part.
They are now signing up to become Junior members of Wigan Table Tennis Club so progressing their TT journey.
The youngest is 6 years old and we have high hopes for all of them.
