The result doesn’t tell the full story today.

After a tough game against Saddleworth earlier in the season, the lads showed just how far they’ve come. We started brilliantly, battled back from 18–8 down to 18–18, and stayed right in the fight until two late tries sealed it for the visitors.

Short on numbers, lads playing through knocks, but nobody quit. Plenty to be proud of and plenty more to come. πŸ’ͺ

The lads put in another fantastic gym session tonight, continuing to build strength, fitness and confidence ready for the second half of the season.

The result didn’t go our way yesterday, but the lads can be extremely proud of their performance πŸ‘

We started the game with the best energy and attitude we’ve shown for a long time, and for large parts of the game we showed exactly what this group is capable of.

The last few games have shown some really positive signs β€” hard work, belief and the team coming together. The good times are coming for these lads πŸ’ͺβ€οΈπŸ’›
