The week before we headed off to Sweden, for our Canoe Expedition.

We held our fundraising Summer Ball at Kennington Hall. It was an incredible evening, the climax of our fundraising efforts for Odyssey.

If you were unable to join us, you missed an incredible evening, from the music, magic, feasting to the speeches, incredible raffle and auction.

It currently stands at £13,881!!!!!!!
This is the GoFundMe total, plus this initial £1,200, we raised for our deposit for the expedition.

Final Camp-fire 🏕️ Dinner this evening…..
Hopefully the beans will help us along 💨 the final stretch tomorrow 🤣🤣🤣

It’s been a challenge, it’s been an experience I never thought I’d do (or be able to do….)
It’s raised a LOT of money (thanks you all of YOU 🫵🏼 generous, lovely people)
We’ll be sending many more people who have had a devastating cancer diagnosis on an Odyssey course, helping them to regain their confidence and concentrate on LIVING.
After all, life is for LIVING, trying new things, putting yourself outside your comfort zone and seizing opportunities. I’m personally SO glad I’ve done this. YES 👏🏼 it’s been tough at times, YES I’ve missed my home comforts, YES I’m looking forward to a shower/toilet/my own bed…..
Would I change anything about it? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
