Aggy's Ronin Story
For a long time she was the only woman playing airsoft in the Highlands.
It started at a Halloween event at her local site. She calls herself the Queen of Halloween, so getting dressed up and borrowing kit made perfect sense. What came after was harder. She could not find anyone to go with, so she went alone. She admits she was scared.
Life got in the way and she stepped back for a while. Then someone helped bring the spark back and gave her the confidence to push on.
Four years later she is on her team's committee, travelling to sites across the country, and building a loadout she describes as looking incredible.
Ask her what the hardest part of getting into airsoft is and she does not say cost or access. She says asking questions. We forget we all started somewhere, and we're scared to ask in case we look stupid.
On what Fujin changed for her, her answer was three sentences. She feels seen. She feels appreciated. She found her people, and her space in the world.

Started playing airsoft at 10 or 11, never even thought of it as a sport back then. Just fun with mates.
Three years ago he came back to it properly, off the back of an invite from his mate Erik, and could not believe how far the sport had moved on since he was a kid.
Started out in borrowed kit and an old green t-shirt. Now he is slowly building the loadout he has always pictured in his head, piece by piece.
Found Fujin through Grim, and admits it did not take much convincing once he saw it, being a big fan of Japanese design already. Since then it has been about more than kit. Filip says being part of Fujin has given him a genuine sense of responsibility, and the motivation to keep improving, on the field and off it.
