Finished a custom 95 .177 for myself, Turkish walnut thumbhole stock, not such a high grade walnut as the last one I did but still a nice piece.

I’ve glided the action , fitted a new spring, guides etc I’ve also shimmed the breech with bronze shims which also makes for easier assembly , I’ve carbined the barrel and fitted a muzzle brake which works great as I find the 95 can be a bit snappy to shoot as standard, I reblued all the action it’s turned out nice and shoots great.

Just serviced the worst webley mk3 i think ive ever seen, The recoil from it was ludicrous, so much so when i pulled the trigger the sintered sear and trigger blade actually both shattered in half at the same time , the trigger blade itself just disappeared never to be seen again, Luckily i had a proper steel sear to replace it with, those sintered trigger parts are awful things and dangerous in my opinion, can’t believe webley made such rubbish.

Dad’s been busy again on a spartan stock, it’s certainly an unusual grain, I’m sure it will pop when it’s oiled up.

Another mk1 come in for a service, there like buses you never see one then two turn up😂, This one belongs to a mate of mine, The action is all original, the stock is the one dad made but the previous owner had it modded by Don Robinson to thin it out a bit.
