Taunton weekend!

After finding Dora the chicken in Strensham services, it turns out she would not be our lucky charm for the weekend. We suffered with the running of the car on Saturday but managed to cure it by the last race but still no luck on the Sunday. However, I managed to get a 3rd in the national to end the weekend on a high!

One of those weekends but that’s racing, I still had lots of fun and that’s what it’s all about. A massive thank you to everyone involved and credit to all those at Autospeed for running such a good weekend!

My next meeting won’t be until our Gold roof championship at Skegness on the 20th of August however we’ll be at Skegness this weekend as Roland will be out in his F1 (don’t worry we’ll check there are no extra passengers this weekend 🐓)

Mega weekend in Scotland, I still can’t quite believe it! 🏁

Yesterday we started the weekend at Knockhill where I started from the back of blue grade. I placed 6th, 3rd and 9th with the fastest lap time in heat 2!

Today we raced at Cowdenbeath where I secured my first ever win in heat 1 as well as the fastest lap again. I continued the afternoon with a 3rd place and 2nd in the Scottish Championship! 🏆🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Amazing 18th birthday weekend, well worth the miles. A massive thank you to everyone who has come with and helped me this weekend, I am forever grateful.

What an absolutely fantastic Autospeed weekend at Taunton and St Day. The first time I’ve raced at the United Downs Raceway and I really enjoyed the challenge after the long journey to get there! We had a few misfire issues in the first couple of races but sorted it for the final, picked up a few decent positions.
We travelled back up country to Taunton for the Bank Holiday Monday event and after a couple of reasonable heats, I qualified 15th for the British Championship. It was hectic from the green and I tried to keep out of trouble and was thrilled with my 5th place finish. Nine races and nine finishes, I’ll take that!
Thanks to the team, it was a long weekend but a brilliant one.
Bring on King’s Lynn on the 16th for our English Championship 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Patsy’s all set for a 12 hour round trip for a busy weekend of racing.
First stop Northampton, then down to St Day on Sunday then Taunton Monday for the Modstox British Championship! 🏆
