*Girls Update*

Thanks to Vale CC for a great day of cricket on Sunday, with our girls playing three matches in the festival.

A lot of learning and fun had by everyone - and a real testament to how far the team has come in their first summer of cricket 🏏

*Girls Update*

We are so proud of our up and coming girls team, formed in May and will many new faces - their development has been fantastic.

It was a great evening of junior girls cricket at Usk CC. A very close game that went to the last over with Usk winning by 2 runs.

A big thanks to Newport CC, it was brilliant to see so many girls playing cricket this evening. And to see both teams enjoying the experience of playing cricket in a match situation. we look forward to our next game in Newport.

What a great team effort for our girls team this evening. Everyone is putting in so much effort, and it was fantastic to have the opportunity to play Panteg away.

The batting was excellent throughout and everyone's bowling improved so much throughout the game.

Thank you parents for your support this evening, coach Jon - and a big thanks to Katie and Meg for helping.

*U13 update*

When it works, it works!

Brilliant result by our talented group of U13s, against a strong and resilient opposition this evening in the Gwent league! A real team performance, with some controlled bowling and fielding. A bit of a wobble with the bat made it a little closer than it should have been - but an excellent effort all round!

Thanks as always to coach Freddy, that team talk last week did the trick 😝
