Last week, in partnership with the Targeted Youth Support Service (TYSS), part of Norfolk County Council โ€™s Childrenโ€™s Services, and the Kaset Skatepark & Music Community , we hosted the Results Rollin' Day ๐Ÿ›ด

More than 80 children, young people and their families came together at Kaset Skatepark, Alive Lynnsport , to celebrate GCSE results day with a programme of free activities, including scooter ramp and pool competitions, archery, co****le, face painting and custom skateboard design.

The event was a great example of how accessible, free opportunities can help young people get active, connect with others and make the most of existing community spaces. It also gave children, young people and families the chance to meet local services and find out more about the support available to them.

Becky Gillick, our Active Communities Officer for King's Lynn and West Norfolk, said:
โ€œResults Rollin' Day was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate everything that makes Kaset such a special space.โ€ She added that the event helped raise the profile of a facility โ€œtruly shaped by and for young people.โ€

A huge thank you to all the partners who helped make the day happen: Norfolk Police, Street Rangers, Together Norfolk, Just Ideas, King's Lynn Creative Studios, Alive West Norfolk staff and the Alive Active Community ๐Ÿ‘
