Reggie's journey, living with half a heart and an ABI

When Reggie popped into the club shop to spend some of his birthday pennies, he spotted the Grimsby Town Foundation boys! ⚽️🖤🤍

What an absolutely brilliant group of lads. They came to say hi to Reg and took him pitch side for a photo, which honestly made his day even more special. 🥹❤️

For a boy who absolutely LOVES Grimsby Town, moments like this mean the world to him.

Appreciation post for these 2 very special people ❤️👏

For the last 4 years, Jamie and Nakayla have opened their beautiful home, Witham Grange Glamping , and held a festival to raise money for Reggie. ❤️

The first two years helped us raise the funds we needed to get Reggie to Germany for his eye treatment. 🇩🇪👀

And for the last two years, they have gone above and beyond and booked us a trip to Disneyland Paris, staying in the incredible Marvel Hotel! 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️🏰❤️

I honestly don't think words can explain just how much this means to us.

Like so many families right now, money is tight, and without their incredible generosity, these kinds of experiences simply wouldn't be possible for us at the minute.

But more than anything, we need to keep making those special memories while we can. ❤️

We don't know what the future holds for Reggie. We don't know what challenges are still ahead or what life has in store for him.

What we do know is that this boy has spent his whole life proving people wrong. He's smashed every "he won't", "he's not likely to" and "he can't" that has ever been thrown his way. And somehow, he just keeps going. 💪❤️‍🩹

So we're going to keep making memories, keep celebrating every milestone and keep giving him as many adventures as we possibly can. 🥹❤️
