Internship #19 complete at .

Huge congratulations to our four most recent interns on successfully completing the FLF Internship Programme.

This cohort was a special one.

Two of the four, and , came through as FLF members, having already lived the transformation process themselves. What started as a commitment to training and nutrition evolved into a genuine passion for the craft, inspiring them to step up their education and deepen their understanding of coaching.

The remaining two each move on to exciting next steps. will be joining the FLF team as a trainer later this month, while leaves armed with practical, real-world coaching knowledge as he and his family relocate to Dubai to begin a new chapter as a personal trainer.

A special mention to the FLF coaching team who helped deliver this internship and taught key modules throughout the process. Big respect to , and for raising the standard and passing on what actually matters.

This is what the FLF internship is about. Applied education, high standards, and people who genuinely care about doing things properly.

If you’re a coach, or an aspiring coach, looking to level up your skill set, professionalism, and real world understanding, applications for the next FLF internship will be opening in the coming months.

August/September 2025 Internship = Wrapped!

This was without doubt one of our best groups yet – so much so that we offered four of them a job at the end! 🎉 Big shoutout to and .

It would have been five, but has exciting plans of his own he’s chasing down – and we wish him all the success moving forward! 🙌

This intake also marked history for another reason… it was the first internship to run inside the brand-new Academy.

Huge thanks as well to our coaches and who brought the fire in the classroom – and gave the group the tools to put straight into practice.

Very excited to see how this group of individuals grow and develop here at the FLF Performance Centre! Also super excited to use the FLF Acadamy more often during our weekly in house education, future internships and a few more exciting bits in the pipeline yet to be announced…

If you’re interested in the next internship get in touch with - we go again end of November!
Let’s go!! 💪🏼

I realised I never shared this photo at the Dec/January 2025 internship – with a couple missing from the picture! Each of them deserves recognition for the journey they started when they first walked through our doors, and how much they’ve grown since.

Watching them level up in confidence, knowledge, and coaching ability has been inspiring. I’m really proud of how far they’ve come already, and I know they each have a bright future ahead.

March 2025 internship

We’re buzzing to announce that 3 of the 5 interns from our March intake absolutely smashed it and earned the right to wear black & yellow FLF T-shirt!

That means throughout May, you’ll see Ryan, Harvey, and Callum coaching clients on the gym floor — bringing all the knowledge, experience, and energy they gained straight into action.

Faye continues to level up in Oldham, delivering top-tier training at her gym, and Alfie is heading to Asia, using everything he’s learned to grow an elite online coaching service.

The future’s looking strong — and we’re only just getting started.

Next internship will begin in June! Get in touch with FLF for more details!

🎉 Big congratulations to our most recent internship graduates! 🏈 American football player , and Irish kickboxer 🥊

These two fellas displayed incredible commitment, taking major strides in both their knowledge and practical skills. It’s not easy balancing work, long travel hours, and learning, but they managed it all while pushing themselves beyond the limits of what they thought they knew personal training.

Jordan has officially joined us as one of our newest trainers at FLF as of October, and I have no doubt Alex will go on to do amazing things in his career.

If you’re a personal trainer or gym owner looking to grow your expertise, don’t hesitate to get in touch with . Our next internship kicks off soon, and we’d love to help you elevate your game!

🎉 A huge shoutout to the recent graduates of our internship! 🌟

These individuals have shown remarkable dedication to evolving their skills, shedding outdated practices, and embracing new methods that drive the success we consistently achieve with our clients.

This was one of the longer internships I’ve ran of recent however It’s was exceptional to witness a few within the group so committed to attended that they were willing to work around their current jobs, travel 6+ hours in a car sometimes twice per week and drop away any preconceived notions of what they know to work in this industry while wholeheartedly engaging in the learning process.

Their efforts have not gone unnoticed, and after careful consideration, we’re thrilled to extend a job offer to to come and join our team at FLF while Emma begins the new venture becoming an online PT and Ozzy continues to level up as a new PT no longer going into his new career path with a lack of confidence around what methods and skill set is required to become a success.

If you’re looking to elevate your skills as a personal trainer or gym owner, whether or not you’re aiming to join our team, reach out to for more information. Best of luck to all the interns as you embark on this exciting new chapter! 😎 next Internship begins THIS MONTH!! August.

Those Who Trust

Recently Rehan and I have discussed the direction of the business and how we feel to grow and develop the team here at The

These discussions often leave me reflecting on a number of questions relating to PT’s of past and present who seem to have “accomplished greatness” along side those who regardless of their seeming lack of “tangible accomplishments,” continue to express their love of being here, working, training, learning and collaborating.

Questions arose such as:

How in such a “results driven” environment do these seeming polar opposite “types” of coaches enjoy sharing the same space? One could even go as far too suggest “compliment” one another.

What do they have in common?
Surely they must have a shared interest or purpose?
Yet if so, what?

I began to pause and observe all the “well educated” suggestions and “wise responses” my knowledge, experience and rational thinking tries to conjure up, like…“they're good at client retention,” or “they have a positive vibe” or “they educate their clients”…it was answers like those that felt as if they were missing the point.

In fact, It was a single worded answer that began to gently appear in my mind almost as if a silent bystander stepping forward from a noisy crowd confidently claiming its right to be recognised as the answer I had been finally ready to receive.
that one worded answer was ‘Trust’.

Those I speak of who’ve been successful and/or continue to express joy of being here all share a deep level of trust!

They trust that they deserve to be here, and when that trust wavers they reach out to a trusted coworker to help regain clarity.
They trust in their skills and abilities.
They trust in us, the owners of the business and that they wouldn’t be here if we didn't trust in them.
Their clients trust in FLF’s track record, the journey they are about to embark upon and the trainer who will lead the way.

It now seems so obvious

The awareness of trust being the fundamental answer to all my questions these last months only seems to have arose within my consciousness for a brief moment, yet in doing so, I’m given my own opportunity to remember once again to ‘trust’.

One day seminar with and covering:

The Fundamentals of Training/Coaching - Part 1

Great opportunity for all PT’s and gym enthusiasts to up-skill themselves in our playground

Photos from Coach James Largey's post 13/05/2022

In life there are those who “talk about it”… and then those who “do it!”….

Nothing to see here … just a bunch of coaches and PT’s who didn’t use lockdown as an excuse to complain about life but instead dedicated the time they had been given when gyms were closed to work on their craft and up skill their knowledge to separate their results and services from the masses.
3 internships and 2 seminars.

June 2022 we go again!

Follow to keep informed on educational dates being dropped!

Naeem's 18 Week Transformation
-
Near enough anyone who religiously sticks to a nutrition plan, training plan and does exactly what he/she is “supposed to do” can get a decent transformation.
-
Now what about those clients who don’t exactly follow the plan you write for them?
Those ‘socialite’ types who enjoy eating a pizza on a date or burgers with friends twice a week? Those who tell their coach “by the way I’ve booked a cheeky couple of weeks away in Croatia” that just so happens to fall bang smack in the middle of our plan and ends up lasting 3-4 weeks via extending his trip to multiple other locations?

Well that pretty much describes the man in the above pictures.

Fresh out of “Uni life” when we initially sat down Naeem mentioned he had one goal in mind at the end of summer and that was get into amazing shape both physically and mentally but with one condition, it was not going to be at the expense of his social life.

Now those who know me will recognise that this kind of client is perfect for me, since I thrive off solving problems and working with those who present me with challenges by throwing the occasional spanner in the works.

A special shout out goes to my guy Elijah who also had a big part to play in Naeem’s transformation - more specifically his training throughout almost his entire journey. I’m sure he’s as grateful as I am.

I wont go into details as I am sure you not interested in how we did it.

However if I am mistaken, and you are interested and you’re a potential client then head down to and book yourself in for a consultation with Rehan.

If your a PT and your interested in how we did it then get yourself booked onto the FLF Seminars in 2020 (especially the body transformations one in April).

See you there,
Coach JL @ FrontlineFit Performance Centre

It‘s interesting to see how one may reflect on a years worth of experiences using the “story’s we tell ourselves” falsely spoken by ego, producing a naive yet seemingly trustworthy interpretation, formulated from nothing more than misunderstood memories created during previous traumatic and confusing life experiences. Why me? Why now? Why this?
-
My conclusion is therefore that a years “success or tragedy” can only be based upon ones “opinion” or “perception” and whats more important to recognise is that what ever you “perceive to be real” is MORE real than reality itself.
-
Therefor “true reality” does not exists independently without ones perception.
But can ones perception be changed? Of course.
-
What I interpret from Mr Job’s quote is that although something may seem like an absolute nightmare in the moment to which seemingly no logical “good” can come from... you can only connect the dots once looking backwards and thus by doing so you may be willing to whiteness the blessings and gifts you have been given.
-
This year I had major fall outs with my wife, best friend/business partner, siblings and mum. More PT’s and staff left my business this year than the total number who had left in the previous 5 years we’ve been open.
-
One may assume (as I did) that my life is a total and utter mess. Looking back and connecting the dots I realise the “tragic events” were gifts I had been presented. Due to the extent of such serious fall outs it enabled new opportunity to openly express our opinions to one another and develop better understanding to how we can respect and love one another within our relationship on terms that serve both parties to thrive together. This wouldn’t have happened.
-
The space created in the team from coaches/staff leaving FLF allowed for new coaches/staff to come in with a “keen to impress” attitude, new management and a new way of thinking. I will say 2019 turned out to be our best years for business development. The team we now have moving into 2020 will be our strongest team to date, the business is performing the best it’s ever performed, and the place looks and feels absolutely world class.
