After last week's game in which The Talbot came away with a 2-1 win in a tight start to the season we welcome Kilwinning Rangers to Marr this weekend for our first home game of the season.

Firstly apologies I thought I had already posted since the end of the season 🫠

The boys ended the season with the Ricky Craig cup final against Auchinleck in Largs.

The game was played in some poor conditions considering the time for the year 🤣

The Talbot scored first with the wind in their favour the first half and the boys did well to keep it tight I told halftime.

George managed to find an equaliser early in the second half to get is back on level terms.

Talbot scored with about 15 to go to make it 2-1 and we were unlucky with a couple of chances not to level and as we were giving it a good go the last couple of minutes we conceded with the last kick of the ball.

Talbot were worthy winners at 3-1 but it was a great experience for the boys.

We are planning to do a few things around the club over the next couple of years as we head to our 60th year and we were wondering if anyone has any old photos they would like to send us.

We are looking for anything going back to the 70s and with a special request for any with the old carriages that were used for changing rooms.

Plenty of kids have passed through the club over the years I'm sure there's some great stuff out there ☺️
