🐯🔴 TCFC U9 Lions Plate Winners!! 🔴🐯

Our 2nd tournament in as many weeks and our Lions come away plate winners in both👏⚽️🏆

Pre-season tournament at BJFF on Saturday. We were drawn into a really tough group but absolutely held our own against some tough teams. Some really good results in the group phase meant we went into our last game needing a draw to get into the knockouts. We did just that and then kicked on through the the quarter finals and into the semis. Tough game as expected and a narrow win to put us into our 4th final in a row!

Our boys love a tournament and we really stepped up in the final vs a team we had previously lost one to, we were superb in the final each and every player gave it everything!! 3-2 winners 🏆💪🏼
So proud of all the boys today we only lost one game all day and as always our fantastic parents getting behind the boys in every game.

What a team!! 🦁🏆💪🏼❤️

What. A. Day. 🐯🔥❤️

Our U14 Thornton-Cleveleys Tigers entered the Clifton Rangers JFC Tournament yesterday with their heads in the game, ready to regroup, work together and show exactly what this team is made of. 🖤❤️

And WOW… what a performance! 👏🏼🔥

The girls were absolutely phenomenal. The passing was on point, the determination was unreal, and the teamwork, communication and fight they showed throughout every game was something to be incredibly proud of. 🐯❤️🖤

We battled our way through to the semi-finals, where it came down to penalties… and the girls held their nerve and got through! 😍🔥

Then came the FINAL. 🏆

Every single girl gave absolutely everything. They were encouraging one another, cheering each other on, lifting each other up and fighting together until the very last whistle. ❤️🖤🐯

Unfortunately, the final also went to penalties and this time it just wasn’t meant to be. 💔

But football isn’t always about the trophy. It’s about the journey, the memories, the friendships, the teamwork, the determination and how you carry yourselves when things don’t go your way.

And these girls can hold their heads HIGH because reaching that final is a fantastic achievement! 👏🏼🐯❤️🖤

We are SO, SO proud of every single one of you. You showed heart, passion, resilience and true sportsmanship from start to finish. ❤️🖤

What a fabulous day, what a fabulous team and what an incredible group of girls! 🐯🔥

🏆 BJFF Tournament Plate Winners! 🏆

With players missing through holidays and other commitments, it was a great opportunity to promote three of U12 players to support the team — and all three did a fantastic job! 👏⚽️

After a mixed bag of results in the group games against some tough opposition, the lads really kicked into gear when it mattered.

Although we didn’t get our hands on the main cup trophy today, the lads showed great character, battled through the knockout stages and got the reward they deserved — some silverware! 🏆🥇

A brilliant day for the team and a great experience for our U12s stepping up. 💪

Well done to all the TCFC U9 Lionesses at the BJFF tournament on Saturday! Lots of smiles and good football played. The girls gave their all and worked as a team! ⚽️👏

We were the only girls team to qualify for the knockouts and after winning on penalties in the quarter finals, lost out narrowly in the semifinals.⚽️

Well done to BJFF on a well organised and inclusive tournament. 👏⚽️

On a lovely Bank Holiday Sunday, we saw our Pumas play in the BJFF pre season tournament.. and we all played so well! We only lost one game to a very good Prestwich side and went out of the tournament in the quarter finals on penalties…⚽️ Everyone played really well, but player of the tournament went to Rex, for a fine non-stop running display and brilliant goal in the quarter final! 👏⚽️ A special mention to Henry our goalkeeper who made some amazing saves throughout the day and was awesome in the penalty shoot out… 🐈‍⬛⚽️❤️

Pumas U9s played in the BJFF Pre Season Tournament! ⚽️🏆

After being in a very tough group, the boys played some great football and finished 3rd progressing into the Plate Quarter Finals! Unfortunately, it wasn't our day but the boys should be proud of their performances in the group stages playing against teams in higher divisions. This has set us up nicely for the start of the season next weekend.

U8 Raiders had a great day at the BJFF Pre Season Tournament. Fantastic football all day, topping the group and going all the way to the final of the cup! Unfortunately, we weren't able to lift the trophy and had to settle for the runner spot, but so proud of the boys - they should be SO proud of themselves! 🙌👏 Looking forward to the season now ⚽️👏⚽️

What can we say about our mr consistent. Over the friendly period Arthur was very very quiet and not his usual self. I think playing against a tough team that we had to dig deep and play proper football has brought the absolute best out of him this weekend as he was involved in every single goal we scored on Saturday. It’s good to have the Arthur we know back and my goodnes is he back with a vengeance.
