A huge well done to Ellie, who picked up Players’ Player today! 🏆⚽️

A brilliant performance at the back — great tackling, strong clearances and a really solid defensive display. 💪🛡️

It’s so great to have you back playing with us, Ellie. You were absolutely brilliant today and thoroughly deserved the recognition! 👏💙

Well done, Ellie! 🌟

A huge well done to Carly, who picked up Managers’ Player today! 🏆⚽️

A brilliant game on the wing, constantly working hard and making an impact at both ends of the pitch. You were always getting back to support the defence, whilst also playing some great through balls going forward. 💪👏

Your constant pressing and work rate really stood out today and you never stopped battling for the team.

Well done, Carly — thoroughly deserved! 🌟💙

Our first defeat in the league so far this week against a very organised Tuffley Rovers.

We knew that coming down from Div 3 they would be a tough opposition, and in the first half we really felt it going 4-0 down (including a own goal which we won't talk about). The second half we reorganised, only conceding one and scoring one ourselves - in the right goal this time.

It was a tough game, it has shown us where we need to practice at training, but we are proud for still giving a good fight 💪

Players Player - Libby (Juice) 🏆
A solid game from Juice today, she was everywhere! Getting on the end of all balls that came her way and stood strong against some very physical challenges. Even an assist under her belt goes to show what a good game she had- we’re proud of you Juice ❤️🖤

Coaches Player - Evie 🏆
Each week Evie impresses us with her speed, determination and defending ability. She was one of the reasons that the opposition didn’t get many chances in front of goal, she tracked each player up the win relentlessly. A solid performance today, well done Evie, keep it up ❤️🖤

WHAT A GAME 🤩 I think the score line speaks for itself on this one. Despite Southmead bringing a number of their first team players from Division 1, we still showed up as we do, week in week out, to play our football. It definitely paid off today, we were switched on from the first whistle up until the last. We were strong, consistent and put up a fight. Great result ladies, let’s go ❤️🖤
