I built Career Mode ages ago and it's become the most popular thing on the site, so it's overdue some love.

Here's what's coming:

📈 Bigger leagues — divisions are growing from 5 teams to 9, so there's a real table to climb.

🎯 Actual pub format — the social divisions will play real 301 double-in pairs and singles, just like a real Tuesday night. Climb high enough and Division 1 is a best-of-7 501 singles gauntlet.

👥 A doubles game every week — you'll throw alongside an AI partner against their pair, proper alternating turns, before your singles even starts.

🔰 New to doubles? No problem — there'll be an option for 401 straight-in instead of 301 double-in, so missing doubles doesn't stop you scoring.

🏆 A real County Cup — knockout draws from every division, not just your own, so a pub team can end up facing a Division 1 side. There'll be a handicap so it's actually winnable, not just embarrassing.

⏩ A Sim button — for when you haven't got time to throw a full match, simmed from your real average.

It's the format that actually works when there's four or five of you and an hour. No one sits watching for twenty minutes because they lost their first
game — you're all in it until the last round.

Live Scorer has been the most-used page on Dart Starter since the day I built it, and it's always had one glaring gap: it couldn't score doubles. The format
half of you play every week. That's fixed tonight.

👥 Doubles mode — 2v2, proper alternating throws. Both partners share the score, but everyone keeps their own average and dart count, so you still know
exactly what you shot.

🪙 Who throws first — coin toss or closest to the bull, right in the app. No more arguing at the oche.

🗣️ Voice caller — full PDC-style calling. "One hundred and eighty." Set it up once and it follows you across Career Mode and Royal Rumble too.

📊 Your whole leg on screen — every visit you've thrown, under your score. 140, 180, 60, 26 tells you something an average never will.

🎯 Cricket rebuilt — double bull finally counts as 2 marks, and closed numbers grey out so you can't tap them by mistake.
