Ahead of a world record attempt this weekend, we explore how pilates was invented on the Isle of Man. It all started when a German man named Joseph Pilates was moved to the island's internment camp, Knockaloe, during WWI. With the influence of Manx cats, he then went on to create the exercise routine we know today as pilates. #isleofman #pilates #worldrecord
