🏆| Pre-season friendly POTM Awards

Parents’ Player was awarded to Lewis – an unrelenting engine throughout the match, defended, attacked and pressed the opposition at every opportunity. Superb work rate and attitude.

Coaches’ Player was shared between two players: -

Max Ward – maintained high pressing throughout the match, he didn’t give the St. Nic’s defence a moment’s peace, bagged himself a goal and provided endless goalscoring opportunities for his team-mates. An excellent performance.

Mustafa – skillful, determined and a high footballing IQ. He grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and fought for every ball. Superb movement to head his goal home and as always, brought great excitement to today’s match.

🏆 | Pre-season friendly POTM Awards

The Parents’ Player award went to Louis; excellent communication, battled hard, fewer touches and fantastic distribution, he provided assists and also bagged himself a hat trick.
The Coaches’ Player award was a split decision: -

Alfie – He picked up where he left off in training; covered every blade of grass, delivered a high press, ran the opposition ragged with his wing play and his perfectly lofted shot beat their keeper for a goal. Superb.

Seb – Genuinely back to his best, very clever defending today with his passing triangles, incisive runs, overlapping with his wingers and improved communication. Well done!

🏆 | Pre-season friendly POTM Awards

Parents’ Player was a three way split between Max W, Ryan and Louis.

Max W overcame a recent chest infection and played a full 60 minutes of quality football. Played wide and central, looked sharp and bagged two goals.

Louis, brought strong hold up play in both defensive midfield and striker positions. He persevered and worked hard for his goal.

Ryan battled hard and adapted well to a CAM role today. Put his body on the line and played like a pro.

Coaches’ Player was awarded to Jack. Positive attitude, determination, effective communication and excellent assists today 💪

🏆| Pre-season friendly POTM Awards

Today’s Coaches’ Player went to Jack. Totally out of his comfort zone at right back and he did the business. He battled, defended, carried the ball forward and delivered some outrageously good corners.

Parents’ Player went to Mustafa. Battled hard today and didn’t give up on a single ball that went into the Battlers’ box. It was a tough debut for him at Market Bosworth earlier this season, but he made things right today - topped off with a well taken penalty.

The parents’ player award was shared with Jack today (bit greedy Jack 😂). Genuinely he was class today.

🏆 | POTM Awards

Parents’ Player was awarded to Ryan. Despite the strapped-up knee, he was everywhere today. Defender, winger and attacker! Covered every blade of grass and fought for every ball.

Coaches’ Player was awarded to Harry. He brought defensive discipline, kept his back line in check and let very little get past him. He is improving with every match, an outstanding performance.
