Another strong away win yesterday as we travelled to Pontardawe Park to face Llandarcy CC. At a ground that hasn't been kind to us in recent seasons, we won the toss and decided to bowl first. After a steady start by the hosts, Man of the Match Ryan Howell delivered a devastating spell to return match figures of 4/25 and take his season tally to 31 wickets! He was ably backed up by Andrew Jones who also took 4 wickets.

The reply was not all plain sailing as 6 wickets fell, but we got over the line with 4 wickets and 18 overs to spare!

Onto next week, with a tasty trip to Dafen Welfare 🙌🏻

🔥 A cracking knock from Ieuan “Gammon” Phillips at broadacre yesterday — an amazing 81 off 67 balls plus 4 catches in the field helped fire Dunvant CC to a brilliant 5-wicket win, consolidating their place in the league’s top four! 🏏💚❤️

After back-to-back defeats, Dunvant CC will be looking to bounce back as we welcome Briton Ferry Town CC 2nds this Saturday, 1:00pm at Broadacre.

A huge game awaits this afternoon as Dunvant CC travel to face Wildboar Centurians.

With the business end of the season approaching, Dunvant need a win to keep their promotion hopes firmly alive, while Wildboar will be desperate to climb from 9th place, so expect a competitive afternoon of cricket.

Tough day at the office yesterday at Broadacre. Bronwydd batted first and took advantage of some loose bowling to score a solid total of 249. Dunvants batsmen needed a much needed partnership however wickets kept falling and only Gareth John showed up with a gritty 60 runs including 10 4s and Luke Rees with 28 not out. Dunvant slip to 4th in the league but will look to bounce back next week away at Wildboar Centurians.

It's a big one this Saturday as 2nd-placed Dunvant CC take on 4th-placed Bronwydd 2nds in what promises to be a fantastic afternoon of cricket.
