Louie has been training and playing for the team over the last couple of months and has shown improvement each week.
Louie has shown a real desire to play for the team, with a fantastic attitude and strong determination to keep improving.

Louie is our second summer signing and will wear the number 5️⃣ shirt for the Galácticos.

The Galácticos were back on the pitch tonight after their summer break and really pushed themselves, working hard individually and also as a team 💪🏼 The teamwork was very good, with all the lads putting in top effort 👏🏼

This weeks Trainers of the Week are Beau and Robbie.

Beau had a very good attitude and never gave up with the tasks set out. He showed good determination and pushed himself hard when him and his team were playing catch up. Beau showed great control and passing at different ranges. ⚽️👏🏼

Robbie worked extremely hard tonight, pushing himself to high limits. His energy was second to none, he was quick and powerful, which saw him score goals as a reward. Played with real hunger and desire and was a hard opponent to go against. ⚽️👏🏼

After our summer break, the Galácticos met up away from the pitch yesterday to celebrate the current baby of the team, Ava's Christening ⛪️
It was great to see the lads away from football, watching how good they are on a pool table! 🎱

Weekend Action 🔴⚽️⚫️

The Galácticos were up bright and early this morning and headed to Wallsend Boys Club to face an opponent our own age, U7s. Following our recent matches against mid and mid-low U8 opponents, today's high U7 opponent was a different challenge for the lads, a challenge they needed to be up for if they were to get anything from the match.
The match was split into four quarters and the first quarter was extremely tight with Wallsend taking the lead twice and us finding two equalising goals. We took the lead in the second quarter, but then fell behind after not staying in our positions well enough and Wallsend's movement and play being very good. Wallsend scored another before we pulled a goal back before the end of the quarter. The third quarter was another tight twelve minutes where both teams matched eachother. Wallsend scored the first goal, before we scored two goals to equalise. Wallsend managed to edge infront again just before the end of the quarter. We went into the last quarter with it all to play for, trailing the match by a single goal. We started on the front foot, attacking really well and creating lots of chances infront of goal, hitting the wood work and forcing their goalkeeper to make some good saves, but we just couldn't find the back of the net! On the eighth minute, we managed to score and the way we were playing, we looked like we could go and find a winner. Wallsend scored a freak goal to take the lead moments after the game restarted. We again pushed forward to find an equaliser and in the last minute found it! The game ended as a draw and was played out by two very good U7 teams who really did leave everything they had on the pitch, so a draw was probably the fair result. It was a very entertaining game, with some brilliant goals scored and was also well reffed which makes a big difference!
The lads have done very well upto now this preseason, but especially in their last two matches where their hard work has really paid off! Well done Galácticos ⚽️👏🏼

P'sOTM:
⭐️ Phenomenal performance from Beau this morning. Was fantastic attacking and defending, with brilliant movement all around the pitch. Showed off his skills and top technique, which also got him Wallsend POTM too.
⭐️ Karter showed a real fighting spirit on the pitch and good determination. He worked really hard and battled his way through his opponents. Made some great runs and passes down the wing and got a well deserved goal.
