Dick of the day: could of been given to Dyl love after his drunk performance on Friday night (vid will be in comments) but luckily Evan was playing today and managed to pass the ball to their striker to have a go 1on1 with him who slotted it past Evan

The lads started well dominating the game, should have went ahead earlier than we did but a few missed chances and a few good saves from their keeper. First goal came from josh D with a hit and hope pass which found Dyl love who flicked it onto condom who smashed it far bottom corner. Special mention Josh Dixon had a very unsteady 30 seconds, didn’t know he was playing football and decided to try put someone on the sideline for a few weeks. Us still dominating just couldn’t get it right in the final third. Doxford equalised with a great ball in behind and their striker dinking Evan. HT.

Second half the lads picked it up again and played some good football on the floor, after a few ‘bounce passes’ Cory plays Grayson in behind who sweatys it for condoms 2nd of the game. 3rd goal came from Cory drilling a corner in and it falling to southern who smashed it top right with an unreal finish. Our 4th of the game came from DT playing a perfect pass through their defence and condom running onto it and puts it past the keeper with his right foot. They then scored after Evan passed it to their striker. Then to finish the game off completely condom running at their right back and beat him then put it across the box and birthday boy Reid slots it home.

Lads played excellent today and continues our unbeaten run so far this season.

Dick of the day: Blackstone for coming on up top for 10 mins against 7 men missing 4 sitters and subbing himself back off x

Big win This morning from the boys in the county cup with the game being called 15 mins earlier due to a number of their lot walking off not wanting to play. Huge credit to the lads who stayed on and played with lesser numbers.

2 mins in we get a freekick and a smart ball into the corridor of uncertainty from Sam sees Jack poke in at the near post 1-0. A minute later Reece finds Dyl inbehind who calmly finishes 2-0. Next goal smart pressing from Dylan as he capitalises on a mistake 3-0. A long ball inbehind from them sees them pull one back with a great finish however he looked miles offside nevertheless 3-1. Captain Suth has the ball at the back and finds Finn with a diag inbehind running from right back and he scores 4-1. Bally plays an inch perfect cross to Reidy who passes it into the corner 5-1. Reece gets the ball on the halfway line skins about 5 players cuts inside and finds the bottom corner 6-1. To finish the half Gallagher has it at the back plays a lovely ball finding Dylan who again scores continuing his clinical start to the season.7-1.half time.

Second half and straight away Sam dimmock plays Reidy in down the right who lifts it over the keeper however it doesn’t have enough to go in and Dylan love scores again 8-1. Shortly after Gallagher goes on a marauding run from the back finds a cross which drops to Reidy and he scores to make it 9-1. It was at this point their lads started walking off the pitch with 7 remaining we made our subs and cracked on. Grayson was the first sub to score finding the far corner 10-1. Josh Dixon next following in a shot he smashed home 11-1. Tomas next with the most boring goal of the game 12-1. I’ve forgot what Reece’s second goal was so let’s just put this here 13-1. Last but not least Niall looking to one up Reece’s solo goal from the first half dribbles past what was remaining of their team and smashes home 14-1 and even done a cartwheel to celebrate.

Unfortunately the game was called 15 mins early due to the other team walking off. Again credit to their lads who tried to carry on and credit to our boys for the performance today continuing our great start to the season as we go through in the county cup. 🟠⚫️

Big squad today with the lads eager to start well after last weeks win. Straight away the lads took control of the ball and a great diag from Suth finding Reece who plays dyl love in one on one and he finds the corner 1-0. Good work from Dyl flicking on a long ball and Reidy runs through and calmly finishes 2-0. Again good work down the left this time and the ball falls to DT who scores with his weaker foot 3-0. Next up a corner is swung in and Dan pounces onto the ball scoring to make it 4-0 half time.

The lads were in complete control and this continued in the second half. Cory wins it back finds Sam Dimmock on the edge he gets it out his feet and smashes it in 5-0. From kickoff they try shooting attempting to catch Reidy now in goal off but misses from the goal kick we played 5 passes resulting in Dylan love scoring again 6-0. Cory who did the first half in goal then after many failed attempts finally scores this being a lob from 40 yards that most definitely wasn’t a shot 7-0. Finally to end of a good performance Reece finally gets his goal with Dylan love beating his man for pace down the right (shock) and finding Reece at the back post 8-0.

Great performance this morning as we go top of the league winning 2 out of 2. On to next weeks game in the county cup. 🟠⚫️

FPL and Last man Standing🎯

With the premier league returning next week we are pleased to announce we will be running a Highwayman FPL league and last man standing for the upcoming season.

The fpl will be £5 to enter and the prize will be split 50/50 between the overall winner and club with the money going towards supporting the lads for this season.

Last man standing will be ran by one of our players for those who don’t know how to play but want to get involved here’s how:

Everyone enters at gameweek 1 choosing a team to win their fixture. If your teams your through to the next round of they lose or draw you are out. Once you have used a team you cannot use them again and this is repeated every game week until there is 1 person left, THE LAST MAN STANDING. In the event that everyone gets knocked out the game would restart with everyone back in and the winning pot rolling over meaning more money to be won.

The entry for the LMS will be £10 again with the winner splitting the money 50/50 with the club. With the majority of the squad signed up the pot is already looking good you don’t want to miss out!

Dick of the day: Blackstone starting as he means to go on, instead of tackling with his left foot decided to rugby tackle someone to stop a counter attack.

The boys returned to action today with a smaller squad then expected nevertheless excited to get going. Fast start sees Sam dimmock find dyl love with his back to goal a lovely spin away from the defender sees him find the bottom corner 1-0. We switched off and from kickoff a long ball catches us off guard and they finish into the bottom corner still without a keeper Cory unable to stop the finish 1-1. Good pressing sees dyl love tackle the keeper 2-1. Next a corner into the from post from Sam sees captain Suth jump highest and heads into the goal 3-1. Cal makes a run from deep inbehind and squares it to Dyl to complete a first half hatrick 4-1. Finishing off the half another corner this time Tomas to the back post it’s Suth again with the finish 5-1 halftime. Great half and honestly should have been about 10 with the amount of missed chances.

Second half understandably the tempo dropped however we was still making chances just struggling to take them. Freekick out wide Cory gets it on the edge and a lovely finish finds the far corner 6-1. After a dodgy dramatic save from Reidy we conceded from a corner with Josh lamb flicking on at the front post for them to finish in an empty net 6-2. Quick response from us cal wins the ball on the half way line goes on a surging beats 4 men and calmly beats the keeper 7-2. Reidy in goal switches a long ball to Tomas inbehind who cuts in and hits it straight at the keeper who spills it in 8-2. Finally to round off the game Sam dimmock plays Tomas inbehind who smashes it post and in 9-2 win.

Great game to start of the season with the new lads not looking out of place whatsoever, starting as we mean to go on with a big win. A special shoutout to one of their lads who definitely lost his head taking his top off and offering our whole team out whilst hiding behind the invisible wall bless him. 🟠⚫️
