A tremendous effort from our U10 players at the Sunderland AFC Academy of Light this evening! Playing at world-class facilities, the squad put on a superb display of football and topped it off with brilliant goals.

A massive thank you from the team and the club to Sunderland AFC for the invitation to play at one of the top academies around—always a fantastic experience for the kids!

What a fantastic day of football for the lads! They dominated the group stage with 4 wins from 5, conceding just a single goal across the entire run and playing some incredible football along the way

After a tense 0-0 draw in the final, it went all the way to a sudden-death penalty shootout where we narrowly missed out on the top spot.

Despite the heartbreaking finish, the boys showed unbelievable teamwork, and determination from start to finish. 👏

⚪️🔵 PRE-SEASON CONTINUES… 🔵⚪️

Today saw the lads back in pre-season friendly action, this time up against last season’s league winners, Boldon. 💪⚽️

The scoreline probably makes the game sound a lot closer than it actually was, because our lads were absolutely brilliant today and really showed what they’re capable of. 👏🏻

We knew Boldon would carry a threat, and they showed that by punishing us from set pieces, converting two corners into goals.
But what impressed us most was the way our kids stood up to the challenge. Against a big, strong and physical Boldon side, they matched them for strength, battled for everything and never took a backwards step. 💪🏻🔥

Absolutely over the moon with every single one of them today. Performances like that show just how far this group is coming on.

A fantastic effort from the boys, playing a year above their age group and topping the tournament group!

After beating our eventual opponents earlier in the day, we fell just short in a tough final.

Solid performances throughout the day winning all 3 group games and the semi final, just fell short in the final narrowly losing out 4-3 after being 3-0 down. But a fabulous day of tournament football scoring some great goals and producing some top performances
